Good news for all the Muslims around the world. The prospects of Hajj and Umrah for Muslims around the world, including Saudi Arabia, have become brighter as the Kingdom decided to open all airports in the country from March 31.

According to the details KSA has decided to open all the international flight operations for airlines around the world from March 31, despite the coronavirus pandemic.

The Saudi Aviation Authority issued the notification and said that COVID-19 SOPs will be fully implemented.

In countries where Corona cases are prevalent, cases of their citizens will be investigated, Saudi Aviation said.

The Saudi government will set up committees to investigate the cases of passengers from these countries, the Saudi Aviation Authority added.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia had decided to extend a ban on entry to the Kingdom by air, land, and sea for another week.

As per the details, the Ministry of Interior said in an official statement that the decision was a precautionary measure against the spread of the new variant of COVID-19, which had been detected in several countries.

The statement also mentioned that exceptional cases would be exempted from the entry ban, and non-Saudi citizens are allowed to leave the Kingdom.

It added that the ministry is assessing the current situation and suspension of travel could be further extended, if necessary.

It is pertinent to mention that a new variant of coronavirus has emerged in the United Kingdom, and has spread in several countries.
