An Indian man murders his flatmate when he asks him to do the dishes.

According to the Hindustan Times, a 21-year-old Indian man was arrested for reportedly murdering his housemate over a disagreement about washing utensils.

Anil Kumar Saratkumar Das, a native of India’s Cuttack district, has been named as the culprit. Amar Basant Mahopatra, 28, was identified as the victim.

The third man who lived with them filed the complaint. The crime was reported by Birju Sahu, 40.

They shared a leased apartment together. According to the police, Mohaptra instructed Das to wash the kitchenware on Friday about midnight. Das was enraged by the request and savagely stabbed Mohaptra with a kitchen knife.
