Biden claims that the US and India are in ‘close conversation’ to manage the ‘destabilizing’ impacts of war

US Vice President Joe Biden said the US and India are in “close contact” about how to deal with the “destabilizing” repercussions of Russia’s war in Ukraine.

Trump conducted a virtual meeting with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the two countries “have a strong and growing major defense alliance.”

According to a senior administration official, the meeting lasted an hour. The two leaders spoke about “a range of bilateral and global concerns” in a “very candid” conversation.
