Easter weekend motoring misery
Britons are cautioned to expect clogged motorways, congested A-roads, and high gasoline...
BISMARCK: This year’s Holy Week in North Dakota may look a little different for Christians.
For certain churches, today is Maundy Thursday, which marks the start of Holy Week and the Last Supper commemoration.
However, many streets in Bismarck are still covered in snow, so congregations are finding creative ways to go to church.
“With the weather and just the road conditions, and the fact that the church is not plowed out yet, we decided to move to just online,” said Rev. Sylvia Bull, associate pastor of Faith Lutheran Church in Bismarck.
Some churches have opted to skip Maundy Thursday services entirely. An eye is being kept on the weather in Bismarck to see if people can attend services on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
