In India, a bride was killed by a rejected lover.

According to Hindustan Times, a bride was allegedly shot dead by a man whose marriage proposal she had turned down.

On Friday, a wedding ceremony took place in India’s Mathura’s Mubarikpur village of Naujheel district.

After the “Jai Mala” rite, Kajal was shot.

After the rite, Kajal went to the dressing room to freshen up, according to her traumatised father, who told a news agency. A man barged into the room and fired a shot at her.

After hearing the gunshot, the family raced to the location. Immediately following the occurrence, the father filed a police report.
