NASA develops deadly AI for hypersonic weapons, Putin is terrified

Using artificial intelligence, NASA has given the West a significant advantage in the hypersonic missile arms race.

The latest hypersonic missiles are apparently so sophisticated that they must be built by a computer, and NASA has developed an AI to accomplish just that. Hypersonic missiles fly at speeds above Mach 5 (3,836mph), allowing them to attack any place on the earth within an hour of launch. These lethal weapons can carry nukes and bypass practically all missile defense systems because they cannot respond quickly enough, all while functioning with extreme precision.

However, due to the massive amount of power and fuel necessary to achieve these high speeds, their application has been limited thus far by relying on rockets.

A “scramjet,” explains tech journalist Will Lockett, is an alternative option.

Scramjet is an abbreviation for supersonic combustion ramjet, and it functions just like a jet on a plane, but with no moving parts.

Mr. Lockett explains: “In a typical jet a turbine compresses the incoming air, fuel is then injected and ignited, which then forces the air out of the jet, creating thrust. But a scramjet does away with the turbine.

“Instead, it uses the craft’s speed to ram air into the combustion chamber with sufficient pressure to get optimal combustion.

“This makes them far more efficient and powerful than an average jet.”

These missiles are released into space by a jet, where they orbit the Earth and strike at precise locations within minutes.

The United Kingdom recently declared that it will work with the United States and Australia to develop the missiles in order to remain ahead of China and Russia.

Russia, on the other hand, claims to have created its own hypersonic missiles.
