Russian invasion: 594 children have suffered in Ukraine

“Russia’s armed attack in Ukraine resulted in the deaths of more than 594 children. The official number of child victims remained at 208 as of the morning of April 22. According to Ukrinform, “the number of injured minors has climbed to 386,” the PGO’s press department reported on Telegram.

These figures are provisional, as work continues in the areas of current conflicts, as well as in the temporarily occupied and freed territory.

According to the PGO, a 16-year-old boy was critically injured by Russian artillery fire in Donetsk region’s Bakhmut area on April 20.

In addition, the PGO said that Russian armed forces damaged 1,141 educational facilities through regular air strikes and shelling of civilian infrastructure and residential areas. There were 99 of them, and 99 of them were entirely
