Dr. Fatih Birol, IEA Executive Director said that utilizing less energy was a substantial way to help the Ukrainian people.

They wanted to cut the energy bills and reduce reliance on Russian fuel.

Birol added that following such a step would reduce the flow of money to Russia’s military.

He continued, “And help put us on a path to a cleaner and more sustainable planet.”

Turning down the heat, using less air conditioning, working from home, and taking public transportation when available are all suggestions.
