																																A self-built residential structure collapsed on April 29 in central China’s Hunan Province, dead five people, and ten people were saved, rescuers confirmed early Thursday.
The tenth survivor, a female, was pulled from the rubble around 12:00 a.m. Thursday, 132 hours after the collapse.
According to rescuers at the scene of the operation, the survivor was cognizant and could even urge rescuers to avoid actions that may harm her.
An emergency specialist, the rescuers found indications of life using traditional tactics such as yelling, banging, and sniffer dogs, as well as life detectors and drones, said Liang Buge.
The building collapsed in Wangcheng District, Changsha, the provincial capital. According to preliminary investigations, 23 persons are thought to be trapped inside the structure while 39 more are missing near the scene.
The search and rescue mission is still ongoing.
