Two men were charged connected with a Thursday mass shooting in midtown Chicago that killed two individuals and harmed seven, police declared Saturday night.

Jaylen Sanders, 21, and Kameron Abram, 20, the two from Chicago, were captured Thursday night close to the site of the shooting, as per police.

Sanders is accused of two counts of crime murder and seven counts of lawful offense endeavored murder, and Abram is accused of lawful offense exasperated unlawful utilization of a weapon and referred to for illegally entering the CTA.

Both are supposed to show up in court Sunday evening.

The shooting occurred around 10:40 p.m. nearby time in the 800 block of North State Street, as indicated by Chicago police representative Tom Ahern. The area is obstructed away from Michigan Avenue, the city’s popular shopping region known as the Magnificent Mile.
