
Hundreds of residents were evacuated from Lyman, in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk region on Tuesday.
The Russian military blasted the town with artillery fire.
An armored coach and many other cars were transporting men, women, and children of different ages.
A 59-year-old Igor says, “I’m not going back there. I’m afraid.”
“I took what I could with me. I left everything there. Even the house was left open.”
He claimed that a piece of shrapnel hit his neck injuring him.
Igor tells, “My whole life flashed before my eyes in a second.
But, “Good thing the shard was red-hot, it cauterized the wound.”
