Kuleba: Transferring stolen Russian assets to Ukraine is supported by the G7 countries

The Group of Seven (G7) countries are supportive of the notion of transferring seized Russian assets to Ukraine to help reconstruct the country, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba he said this on Facebook.

“I’m not allowed to discuss the specifics. The only thing I can say is that they are enthusiastic about the concept of Russian assets being taken and handed to Ukraine for the reconstruction of our country. Hundreds of billions of euros are at stake “Kuleba explained.

He also mentioned that the G7 has reaffirmed its willingness to join efforts to restore Ukraine, including towns, infrastructure, and regions that had been ravaged by the conflict.

G7 officials, according to Kuleba, also backed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s concept of patronage over a certain Ukrainian area or city. “This concept is incredibly appealing to our partners. Everything should be alright, and we will construct this task accordingly “Kuleba explained. Kuleba held a meeting with his G7 counterparts in Lubeck, Germany, on May 13.
