Man in India swallows expensive jewels with biryani at Eid party

According to India Today, a 32-year-old guy in India ingested gems worth INR 145,000 along with food during a friend’s Eid Milan party.

To recover the gems from the man’s stomach, doctors had to administer an enema.

The party’s host, a jewellery store employee, had invited pals over to celebrate Eid.

While eating biryani, one of the visitors, a friend’s boyfriend, swallowed jewellery. According to the authorities, the man was inebriated at the time of the incident.

After the guests had left, the host found that some of the jewellery pieces, including a diamond necklace and a diamond pendant, were missing.

The host suspected the lover and reported him to the police station in Virugambakkam.

He confessed right away when questioned by the cops.

After administering an enema to the man, doctors were able to recover the gems.
