Owaisi condemns murder of Dalit man by Muslim wife’s family

Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of the AIMIM, has condemned the alleged honor killing of a Dalit man in Hyderabad by the Muslim wife’s family.

He called it “the worst crime in Islam.”

B Nagaraju, 25, was beaten and stabbed to death in the middle of a popular street in Saroornagar, Hyderabad, by his wife’s brother and an accomplice earlier this week.

According to the deceased person’s family, he was murdered because the woman’s family rejected their interfaith marriage.

The accused were quickly caught, according to Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.

Yet, certain groups are attempting to paint the incident in a “different light.”

“The murder of Nagaraju in Hyderabad is against Islam. The girl married him of her own will and the law upholds this. Her brother had no right to kill her husband. It is a criminal act and the worst crime as per Islam,” he said.
