PILOT MOM-SON DUO FLY PLANE TOGETHER FOR FIRST TIME

On Mother’s Day onboard, a pilot gave an emotional speech to pay honour to his co-pilot mother, which went viral on social media.

In the viral footage, Aman Thakur, 24, is seen entering the plane with a bouquet. He handed it to his mother, who was also his co-pilot.

It was their first time travelling on an aeroplane together.
“Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, this is Aman Thakur, your first officer,” he said. “Could I have your attention for a moment?” Mother’s Day, as we all know, is a very significant day. I’m sure you’re showering your mum with affection and respect.”

“On Mother’s Day, I’d want to pay a tiny tribute to my mother,” he continued. I’ve spent the last 24 years of my life travelling with my mother on numerous flights with various airlines including IndiGo. As a result, today is a great day for me because I will be co-piloting this aircraft with her.”

The pilot expressed his gratitude for what she had done for him.
