Putin’s thugs attack concerned Russians who speak out
In a video shared on social media, a “brave” woman was arrested by Russian cops for “blasting audio recordings recounting details about Russian atrocities in Ukraine.” In the footage, a Russian police officer can be seen climbing up the balcony of the woman who was filming the mishaps.
“A brave woman in St. Louis,” wrote Julia Davis, a Daily Beast columnist. Petersburg was broadcasting audio recordings exposing Russian atrocities in Ukraine, which surpassed even the Nazis in terms of heinousness during WWII.
“The cops arrested her after scaling her balcony. She received a 50,000 ruble fine.”
Despite an increasing number of reports and testimonies pointing to possible war crimes in Ukraine, particularly in areas controlled by Russian forces until recently, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet stated that abuses were still occurring “by the use of explosive weapons with wide area effects in populated areas, such as shelling from heavy artillery, including multiple launch rocket systems, and missile and air strikes.”
In а video message, the UN rights chief said that while Russiаn soldiers were going to bear the brunt of the blame, Ukrainian troops were also to blame — albeit to a lesser amount.
Ms Bachelet told the gathering that 1,000 civilian deaths had been recovered in the Kyiv and Cherniv areas, citing the most recent disturbing findings of UN investigators.
Some were killed in battle, while others appeared to be executed without a trial.
“These killings of civilians often appeared to be intentional, carried out by snipers and soldiers,” Ms Bаchelet said. Civilians were slain when they crossed the road or left their shelters in search of food and water.
“Others were killed while fleeing in their cаrs.”
