The sixth wave of planned EU sanctions includes Russia’s Patriarch Kirill

Patriarch Kirill, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, is among the individuals who would be included in the proposed sixth round of European Union sanctions.

According to the sources, the proposed text has been given to the corresponding ambassadors for evaluation.

At this point, names can be removed or added at the discretion of member states, according to an EU Commission source.
