Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made an unexpected location by means of video interface during the kickoff of the 75th Cannes Film Festival today.

Talking with Ukrainian banners hung behind him, Mr Zelenskyy drew a loud overwhelming applause and talked for a long time about the association among film and reality.

He referred to films like Francis Ford Coppola’s “End of the world Now” and Charlie Chaplin’s “The Great Dictator” as much the same as Ukraine’s current conditions.

“We really want another Chaplin who will exhibit that the film within recent memory isn’t quiet,” the Ukrainian chief said.

The conflict in Ukraine will be a standard presence in Cannes, where the celebration has banished Russians with binds to the public authority from joining in.
