
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky requests Bulgaria’s assistance in repairing military equipment destroyed in the current conflict with Russia.
Vitaly Moskalenko, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Sofia, has presented a letter from Ukrainian Presiden Zelensky to Bulgaria’s Parliament.
The letter expresses his hope that Bulgaria will assist in the repair of Ukrainian military equipment and continue to assist Ukrainians fleeing the conflict.
According to Zelensky, Bulgaria should continue to provide humanitarian aid, such as medications, clothing, and food.
Zelensky expresses his optimism that energy cooperation between the two nations would continue.

He also expressed his hope that Bulgaria will continue to support Ukraine on its route to EU membership.
The Bulgarian Parliament will vote later on Wednesday on whether to provide Ukraine with “military-technical equipment.”
