Before a terrifying crash while travelling to Ukraine, a Russian airliner erupts into flames in midair

While its route to help Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, a Russian military aircraft caught fire and crashed.
Immediately after refuelling in Ryazan, Russia (125 miles southeast of Moscow), the Ilyushin-76 cargo plane was seen on fire in the sky.

It had to make an emergency landing behind a crowded residential tower and blew up as it did so.

The crash was followed by a massive column of black smoke.

There were nine crew members onboard; at least four of them died, and the other five were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Vladimir Petrushin, Nikolai Gorbunov, and Dmitry Andreev were three of those who perished; a fourth passed away in a hospital.

Despite the plane colliding near to both shops and residential areas, it is understood that there were no human casualties on the ground.

A voice can be heard stating the following in a scary crash video: “Look, everything is on fire.

It’s coming at us, another person says. It’s flying at us, how terrifying. Look, it’s going to hit the homes.”

Someone shouts, “This is it!” as the jet crashes to the earth.

Following its stop in Ryazan for refuelling, the Ilyushin-76 apparently experienced a significant engine failure.

Its journey began farther east in the city of Orenburg, and it was destined for Belgorod, the capital of the same-named Russian district and a little distance from the Ukrainian border.

In addition to serving as a crucial base for the Russian paratroopers who have been destroyed during the fight, Ryazan is a crucial military staging area for the Russian military travelling to Ukraine.

This comes after a significant jet disaster this week in Russia in which the pilot was able to save everyone on board.

The Antonov-30 fell off the radar, was reported as missing, crashed in the middle of Siberia, but all seven occupants survived.

Vladimir Vinogradov, his co-pilot on the aircraft from Yakutsk to Olenyok, commended Captain Yevgeny Kudashov, 67, for his quick thinking.
