“This is a phoney decision with no credibility,” Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson stated. According to Russian media, two British citizens and a Moroccan will face a firing squad after being sentenced to death; by pro-Moscow separatist insurgents in eastern Ukraine. Aiden Aslin, Shaun Pinner, and Saaudun Brahim, who were detained while fighting for Ukraine; were convicted guilty of plotting a violent revolution of power by a court in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic. They were also found guilty of terrorism and mercenary operations.

“The court was directed not only by the stipulated norms and laws; but also by the basic unshakeable principle of justice,” Alexander Nikulin; chairman of the Collegium of the Appeals Chamber of the Donetsk People’s Republic, said.
