Indian woman murders her six children by throwing them in well

According to the Hindustan Times, a 30-year-old mother in India was caught on Monday evening for dumping her six children into a deep well, which resulted in their deaths.

Runa Chikhuna Sahani shoved her five girls and one boy, all between the ages of one and a half and ten, into a 20-foot deep well.

Roshni (10), Karishma (8), Reshma (6), Vidya (5), Shivraj (3), and one-and-a-half-year-old Radha were among the children who died.

Sahani attempted suicide, according to Superintendent of Police Ashok Dudhe. She jumped into the well after pushing her children. A passer-by, on the other hand, noticed her and saved her.

“A passer-by saved the mom, but the children were all dead by the time they were pulled out,” he claimed.

Her husband, Chikhuna, 32, he claimed, was an alcoholic who was constantly suspicious of her. She was tired of the continual squabbles.

According to the authorities, the conflicts between the two began when they moved into their new home, which also housed other bachelors. Chikhuna would be insecure, suspecting his wife of infidelity.

“The husband used to come home drunk and hit her because he suspected her of flirting with the bachelors,” Dudhe added.

All of the dead were removed by the Salunkhe Rescue Team, Mahad MIDC fire department, and local people.

Sahani was apprehended by the police after a murder charge was filed against her. When asked about her children, she showed no sorrow and showed no emotion, according to an officer.

“We tried emotionally speaking to her by asking who will now call her’mummy,’ but she didn’t cry.”

The spouse rejected the charges, claiming that he occasionally drank alcohol. He said that the couple had a fight about Sahani’s failure to keep the house tidy and prepare food for him.
