According to the Free Press Journal, four ladies in Indore, India, sold a 15-day-old newborn for Rs550,000 and used the money to buy house properties.
Her biological parents were among the baby’s sellers. Shaina Bi, the mother of the kid, was living with her partner Antar Singh.
When Bi discovered she was pregnant, Singh feared it wasn’t his child and requested her to terminate the pregnancy. When she told him it was too late, he suggested they make a deal to sell the baby once it was born.
Three other ladies, including the 23-year-old, were arrested. Leena Singh, the baby boy’s buyer, was also scheduled.
The defendant is accused of purchasing a refrigerator, an LED television, a washing machine, and other appliances.
All of the accused’ belongings have been seized by the police.
After losing her twins, the buyer opted to buy Bi’s baby through an intermediary.
While the mother was apprehended, two other suspects remain at large.
