Ukraine forces repel attack in Bilohorivka, stopping enemy advance toward Bakhmut

• Multiple assaults were repelled by the Ukrainian troops, who also forced the adversary to flee while suffering casualties.

In the course of the day, Russian occupation forces persisted in concentrating the majority of their efforts on attempting to seize Siversk and move closer to Bakhmut. Multiple assaults were repelled by the Ukrainian troops, who also forced the adversary to flee while suffering casualties.

According to a Ukrinform correspondent, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces posted the pertinent remark on Facebook.

The situation in the directions of Volyn, Polissia, and Siverskyi was mostly unchanged. The enemy shelled border towns like Studenok, Volfyne, Bilopillia, Novi Vyrky, and Iskryskivshchyna with artillery. In Chernihiv Region and Sumy Region’s border regions, aerial reconnaissance is being conducted.

Russian forces are attempting to hold the captured boundaries in the direction of Kharkiv. Near the communities of Petrivka, Protopopivka, Prudianka, Ruski Tyshky, Pytomnyk, Staryi Saltiv, Chuhuiv, Mospanove, Udy, Vesele, and others, enemy shelling was noted. Near Prudianka and Verkhnii Saltiv, airstrikes were fired by the Russian occupiers.

Russian invaders opened fire with mortars, cannon, and rocket artillery in towns like Dolyna, Dibrovne, Ivanivka, Mazanivka, Bohorodychne, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Kurulka, Kostiantynivka, Virnopillia, Husarivka, and others in the Sloviansk direction. The adversary is actively utilising radio-electronic warfare to obstruct the control system of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and impede flying reconnaissance.

Russian forces are still concentrating their efforts in the Donetsk direction on attempting to seize control of the city of Siversk and move towards the city of Bakhmut.

Russian occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure close to settlements including Donetske, Siversk, Verkhnokamianske, Zvanivka, Vyimka, Ivano-Darivka, and others in the Sloviansk direction. Near Hryhorivka, Ukrainian soldiers swiftly put an end to enemy advances. Russian occupiers lost ground and withdrew.

Russian invaders started firing mortars, cannon, and rocket artillery in the direction of Bakhmut, especially close to Berestove, Vesele, Krasna Hora, Vershyna, Novoluhanske, and Travneve. Near Kostiantynivka, Novoluhanske, and Pokrovske, the enemy began air and missile attacks. The vicinity of Berestove, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, and Novoluhanske saw attempts by Russian forces to attack and advance. Once more, the enemy’s subpar actions resulted in failure and losses.

The enemy shelling was noted at Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Volodymyrivka, Pavlivka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Stepnohirsk, and Stepove in the directions of Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhzhia. The adversary launched air and missile attacks close to Pokrovsk and Novoselivka Druha.

Near Mykhailivka, Pavlivka, and Novomykhailivka, Russian invaders tried to strengthen their tactical position. They were turned away and made to ignominiously flee.

Russian forces are deliberately shelling Ukrainian soldiers in the direction of Southern Bug in an effort to obstruct their ability to supply themselves. Near communities such Bila Krynytsia, Bereznehuvate, Ternivka, Veselyi Kut, Blahodatne, Kvitneve, Lotskyne, Novohryhorivka, Myrne, Prybuzke, Lupareve, Bashtanka, and others, the enemy started opening fire on civilian and military infrastructure. Mykolaiv was the target of missile attacks by the Russian occupants.

UAVs are still being used for airborne reconnaissance. The key infrastructure in the area is extremely vulnerable to additional missile attacks.

While doing so, Ukrainian soldiers continue to defeat Russian invaders in close quarters battles while carrying out missile and artillery fire operations in the assigned directions.
