Nobody abides by the political intimidation coming from Russia on a purported “judgement day” for Ukraine. In parallel, Russia will literally face judgement for the atrocities done by the terrorist state. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who addressed the nation via video on Sunday,

“Today, another not-so-sober statement about the alleged ‘judgment day’ for Ukraine came from Russia. Of course, no one will accept such intimidation. But look how cynical it is to say such a thing today – on the anniversary of the destruction of the Malaysian Boeing by Russia in the sky over the Ukrainian Donbas. In an apparent act of terrorism, 298 people were killed: 80 children, citizens of 10 countries. Even then, Russia was following this path – toward the status of a terrorist state and toward a special tribunal, which will definitely hear Russian aggression against Ukraine. This will be a judgment day for Russia – not in a figurative sense, not as some loud statement, but literally,” the president emphasized.

The chief of state stated that as of this moment in time (19:00), Russia had already attacked Ukraine with more than 3,000 missiles, as well as an uncountable amount of artillery and other munitions. All Russian war criminals will be held accountable, according to Zelensky.

In a meeting with World War II veterans in Volgograd on July 17, it was previously reported that Russia’s deputy chairman of the Security Council, Dmytro Medvedev, threatened Ukraine with “judgement day” in the case of a Ukrainian invasion on Crimea.
