According to his brother, American stuntman Robbie Knievel, who broke records with his daring motorcycle jumps while imitating his thrill-seeking father, passed away in Nevada. He was 60.

After a battle with pancreatic cancer, Robbie Knievel passed away early on Friday at a hospice in Reno, according to Kelly Knievel.

According to Kelly Knievel, “Daredevils don’t lead easy lives.” He was a terrific risk-taker. People don’t realise how terrifying what my brother did was.

Robbie Knievel started riding a bike as a young child to imitate his renowned father, Evel Knievel, who passed away in 2007 in Clearwater, Florida.

However, Robbie successfully accomplished the leap in 1989 with a specially constructed Honda, unlike Evel Knievel who famously came dangerously close to passing out in 1967 when he crashed his Harley-Davidson during a jump over the Caesars Palace fountains in Las Vegas.

Robbie Knievel also performed eye-catching leaps on the Las Vegas Strip in 1998 at the Tropicana Hotel, between two buildings in 1999 at the Jockey Club, and on December 31, 2008, on New Year’s Eve among pyrotechnics in front of a volcanic feature at The Mirage.

Robbie Knievel said that his father had always wanted to jump the magnificent natural landmark after crash-landing to make a motorcycle leap over a 220-foot chasm at an Indian reservation outside Grand Canyon National Park in 1999.

Instead, in September 1974, Evel Knievel attempted to fly over the mile-wide Snake River Canyon abyss in Idaho. His escape parachute opened as his rocket-powered cycle fell into the gorge.
The brother of Robbie Knievel mentioned further exploits, such as a jump over a line of military planes in 2004 on the deck of the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid, a museum in New York.

Known as “Kaptain Robbie Knievel,” Robbie Knievel established numerous stunt records but also failed at a number of endeavours. In 1992, at age 29, he was injured when he crashed into the 22nd of 25 pickup trucks lined up across a 180-foot span in Cerritos, California.

He suffered a great deal from injuries, Kelly Knievel stated on Friday.

Living in Las Vegas is Kelly Knievel. He said that Krysten Knievel Hansson of Chicago, Karmen Knievel of Missoula, Montana, and Maria Collins of Waldport, Oregon, were present when his brother passed away.

Although there were no immediate plans for services, Kelly Knievel said his brother would be laid to rest in Butte, Montana, alongside other family members.
