
Malnutrition in Gaza
The World Health Organization (WHO) has expressed serious concern over the growing malnutrition crisis in Gaza, especially in Gaza City, where the most affected area.
In a recent statement, WHO said Gaza is facing a dangerous malnutrition situation, due to the lack of food the death rate is increasing rapidly especially in children’s and in weak persons.
“Gaza has been enduring the effects of chronic food insecurity for over five years,” the organization said. “But recent developments have pushed the region into an acute emergency.”
WHO emphasized, Rescue goods must be allow in the areas where the need, and it should be continue without any delay.
Authorities in Gaza say six more Palestinians, including two children, have starved to death, bringing the total toll from hunger to 133 since Israel’s war began.
Israeli forces have killed 63 people in Gaza, despite announcing plans for what it called daily humanitarian pauses to allow aid in. The victims included 34 aid seekers.
Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 59,733 people and wounded 144,477.
