Pakistan will present a clear plan for the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, the Foreign Office confirmed. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar will represent Pakistan at a meeting of Arab and Islamic foreign ministers in Istanbul.
According to the Foreign Office, Ishaq Dar will attend the meeting on the invitation of Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. He is scheduled to arrive in Istanbul tomorrow for a one-day visit.
During the session, Pakistan will emphasize the need for collective international efforts to ensure the establishment of an independent, viable, and sustainable State of Palestine, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, based on pre-1967 borders and in line with relevant UN resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
The statement reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm belief in justice and peace for the Palestinian people, adding that the country has consistently supported diplomatic and humanitarian efforts to help Palestinians achieve their right to self-determination with dignity and honor.
