Riyadh Air to hire cabin crew, pilots, and more in Dubai recruitment drive
The Saudi Crown Prince has revealed plans for a new national airline, Riyadh Air, set to start operations in mid-2025. Financed by the Saudi sovereign wealth fund, Public Investment Fund (PIF), the airline aims to support Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification and job creation goals outlined in Vision 2030.
Riyadh Air aims to recruit 300 flight attendants by the end of 2024 and is actively hiring in key locations like Dubai, Paris, and Saudi Arabia. Peter Bellew, Riyadh Air’s COO, highlighted the overwhelming response with over 900,000 applications from candidates of 200 nationalities, reflecting global anticipation.
The airline plans to participate in the Dubai Airshow, reportedly ordering 100 Boeing 737 Max planes and unveiling its second livery, reinforcing its commitment to shaping the global aviation landscape.
With ambitions to serve over 100 destinations by 2030, Riyadh Air aspires not only to offer comprehensive air travel services but also to significantly contribute to job creation and economic growth, positioning itself as a key player in Saudi Arabia’s long-term developmental objectives.
