KARACHI: The Sindh government will install big screens in Karachi and several other cities, giving football fans a chance to watch the FIFA World Cup 2026 semi-finals and final together while enjoying the atmosphere and cheering for their teams.
The announcement was made by Sindh Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mahar after France, Spain, England and Argentina secured places in the tournament’s semi-finals.

In Karachi, the semi-final matches will be shown on July 15 and 16, while the final will be screened on July 20 at the Youth Development Centre in Sharafi Goth, Malir.
The minister said big screen screenings will also take place in Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas.
In Sukkur, all three matches will be shown at the Municipal Stadium. Football fans in Rohri will be able to watch the final at the Rohri Football Ground.
The Ghotki Sports Complex will host screenings of both semi-finals and the final. The Thatta Sports Complex will broadcast the final match.
Mahar said the initiative is part of the Sindh government’s efforts to promote sports and provide healthy recreational activities for young people.
He said the public screenings will bring football fans together, increase interest in the sport and encourage more young people to take part in football.
