Pak desires promotion of economic relations among Muslim countries, SAPM

Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan says Muslim states need to adopt a united stance and prepare a comprehensive strategy to deal with challenges facing the Muslim Ummah, such as Islamophobia.

She said on Tuesday in a series of tweets that legislation at a global level needs to be made for ensuring due respect to holy personalities and books of every religion so that Norway like incidents could be averted. Such incidents should be declared a crime and the culprits should be punished accordingly.

ناروے جیسے افسوسناک واقعات روکنے کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ تمام مذاہب کی مقدس شخصیات اور کتب کے احترام کے حوالے سے عالمی سطح پر قانون سازی کی جائے۔ایسے واقعات کو جرم قرار دیا جائے اور مرتکب عناصر کو سزا ملنی چاہئے۔

The Special Assistant said Pakistan, being a pioneer member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, desires promotion of economic relations among Muslim countries and strengthening of cooperation in science and technology.

مظلوم کشمیریوں کی حمایت اور ان کے ساتھ اظہار یکجہتی پر سکرٹری جنرل او آئی سی کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ہیں۔اس فورم سے کشمیریوں کے جمہوری بنیادی حق اور وادی میں سنگین صورتحال کو اجاگر کرنے کیلئے مزید آواز بلند کرنا ہو گی۔

She said OIC is the highest platform to strengthen the bond among Muslims. She said OIC has to play a more proactive role in the resolution of the problems of the Muslims, facing oppression and tyranny.

She said the verdict about Babri mosque has exposed secular face of India and unveiled India’s attitude towards Muslims and other minorities.

بھارت پر زور دیا جائے کہ کشمیر میں ریاستی دہشت گردی اور انسانی حقوق کی پامالیوں اور غیرانسانی پابندیوں کو فی الفور ختم کیا جائے۔ بابری مسجد کے فیصلے نے بھارت کا سیکولر چہرہ بے نقاب کر دیا، مسلمانوں سمیت دیگر اقلیتوں سے ان کے سلوک کا پول کھل گیا ہے۔

Thanking OIC for supporting and expressing solidarity with oppressed Kashmiris, the Special Assistant said the forum will have to raise more voice to highlight democratic rights of Kashmiris and the grave situation in occupied Kashmir.

او آئی سی کا بانی رکن ہونے کے ناطے پاکستان چاہتا ہے کہ مسلم ممالک کے مابین معاشی تعلقات فروغ پائیں اور سائنس و ٹیکنالوجی کے شعبہ میں تعاون کو مزید تقویت ملے۔
