Opposition in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh Firdous Shamim Naqvi has strongly criticized Sindh government for mishandling coronavirus situation in the province.

Addressing press conference he said Sindh government is not working accordingly to combat coronavirus outbreak.

Firdous Shamim Naqvi said Sindh authorities are not working on the directives provided by the federal government to tackle Covid-19.

He also said to make situations of the hospitals better.

PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh criticised Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah for spreading fear among the people regarding the number of Covid-19 deaths reported in the province.

Addressing a press conference along with Firdous Shamim Naqvi , he said: “Please do not spread fear. Doctors said deaths are increasing because there is a lack of transport but you said that the deaths are due to coronavirus.

Without any evidence you claimed that the lungs of the patients showed the presence of “corona”, he said.

On the other hand, Sindh on Sunday reported seven more deaths to take the nationwide tally to 166.

According to Sindh government spokesperson, 55 deaths have been reported in the province so far.

He said;

“To deal with coronavirus, we will have to readjust our way of living. As suggested by docs, we need 2 wash our hands regularly especially before we touch our mouth,nose & eyes. It is also advised 2 consume more water & hot liquids.I have replaced tea with hot water & lemon. Love it”
