
Sindh government has announced to enforce complete lockdown across the province from 12 noon to 3 pm on Friday (April 17) to restrict people from participating in the congregational Jummah prayers.
According to the details, The restriction as part of the restrictive measures to control the spread of Coronavirus epidemic. Under the directive no traffic would be allowed on the road during this time period.
Earlier today, CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah released his message in Sindhi on Twitter.

Mufti Munib urges to perform congregational Friday prayers
Egypt’s Al-Azhar has issued a Fatwa (edict) on the request of President Dr Arif Alvi permitting suspension of Friday prayers to control the spread of deadly coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan.
President also said on twitter, “I request Ulema to take urgent action to stop #CoronaVirus spread in Pakistan, based on principles of Islam from Quran & Sunnah. Countries that have stopped congregational prayers: UAE, Saudia, Iran, Algeria, Tunisia, Jordan, Kuwait, Palestine, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt etc.”
