
Prime Minister Imran Khan called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Sources say that Director General ISI Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed was also present during the meeting.
The meeting consulted on the overall situation of the country.
According to sources, the situation and actions arising in the country from Coronavirus were discussed.
Sources further stated that the Prime Minister appreciated the performance of the army and security agencies deployed in the country during the lockdown.
The meeting also praised the efforts of doctors and paramedical staff.
According to sources, the distribution of relief fund to the four provinces, including Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, was also discussed.
Sources say that during the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed on the ongoing Indian aggression along the Line of Control (LoC).
Sources say the prime minister was also informed about the India’s unprovoked firing along the LoC, targeting the civilian population and the retaliation of the Pak army.
Earlier, Director-General Inter Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar has released a 24 hour ceasefire violation update by Indian Army along Line of Control (LoC).
In a series of tweets, DG ISPR said that Indian Army troops in total disregard to ceasefire agreement & international conventions initiated unprovoked ceasefire violations along LOC deliberately targeting civilian population in Baroh, Dhudnial, Rakhchikri and Chirikot Sectors.

He also praises Pakistan Army’s retaliating against Indian troops unprovoked firing.
Maj Gen. Babar Iftikhar said, “Pakistan Army troops effectively responded and targeted those Indian posts which initiated fire. Due to indiscriminate Indian fire of heavy weapons and mortars, a two years old minor Muhammad Haseeb in Dhudnial Sector, embraced shahadat.”

In another tweet DG ISPR reported injuries of 4 citizens in Baroh, Rakhchikri and Chirikot Sectors.
He also said that the injured later then shifted to nearby hospitals for immediate medical assistance.
…while 4 citizens including a woman and 72 years old senior citizen in Baroh, Rakhchikri and Chirikot Sectors sustained serious injuries. Injured have been evacuated to nearby health facility for necessary medical care. (3/3)
