Flour price increased by Rs 20 per 20kg sack in Punjab

The Punjab Flour Mills Association has increased the price of a 20kg sack of flour. The price has been increased to Rs 825 from Rs 805.

The new prices will be applied to all the cities in Punjab except Islamabad.

Flour Mills Association said that they increased the price by Rs 20 as they were being given wheat at a higher rate.

According to details, the association said that flour mills have to purchase wheat from open markets where it is being sold for over Rs 1,475. But the price of wheat, fixed by the Punjab government, is Rs 1,400.
