US President Donald Trump wants to buy Pakistani hotel

US President Donald Trump has expressed interest in buying the PIA luxury hotel Roosevelt in New York.

According to the American newspaper Washington Post, US President Donald Trump has expressed his intention to buy the luxurious Roosevelt Hotel of Pakistan International Airlines in New York to expand his hotel and restaurant chain.

The hotel, named after former US President Theodore Roosevelt, was built in 1924 and leased by PIA in 1971 to Saudi Prince Faisal bin Khalid.

The historic hotel was bought by PIA in 1999 for 36 million.
