Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi accompanied by Defense Minister Pervez Khattak and Special Assistant for National Security Moeed Yousuf visited the Line of Control (LoC).

During his visit to the LoC, military officials briefed Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on the latest situation in the LOC.

On the occasion, the Foreign Minister paid homage to the greatness, courage and spirit of the Pakistan Army personnel stationed at the LOC and said that the nation was proud of the bravery of them.

In his message, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the Defense Minister and I were going to the border to show solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiris.

After visiting the LoC, the Foreign Minister will also visit Muzaffarabad where he will meet the political leadership of Azad Kashmir.

Earlier on Saturday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan telephoned Prime Minister Imran Khan. The two leaders exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the support of the Turkish President for the Kashmir cause. The Turkish President expressed his determination to continue supporting Pakistan on the Kashmir issue. The two leaders decided to remain in touch on issues of common interest.
