The accountability court adjourned the hearing of the Excess Assets case against PPP leader Khurshid Shah till October 12.

Note that a reference of Rs 18 was filed against 18 persons, including PPP leader Khursheed Shah, by NAB.

It should be remembered that Sukkur Accountability Court had deferred indictment of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Syed Khursheed Shah in assets beyond income case on 24th August.

According to the details, AC Judge Farid Anwar Qazi heard the case. PPP leader Khursheed Shah and other accused appeared before the court.

During the proceedings, NAB’s counsel requested the court to defer the indictment as more evidence gathered against Shah and others.

The accountability watchdog requested the court to adjourn the hearing of the case till September 8, 2020.

Accepting the anti-graft body’s request, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till September 8.
