Govt wants to ensure transparency in Senate elections, Sarwar

Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said on Sunday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government wants to ensure transparency in the Senate elections to strengthen democracy.

He said this while talking to a delegation in Lahore today. He added that opposing open ballot is actually the support to vote for sale.

Sarwar further said that all Senate candidates of PTI will win and the party will emerge as the largest party in the upper house of the parliament.

He added that people who are doing politics of disruption will achieve nothing and urged Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to stop trying to remove the incumbent government.
