Israel Kills Nuclear Scientist To Wage War: Iranian President
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has blamed Israel for killing the country's nuclear...
A one-ton automated weapon was used in the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh near Tehran in November last year.
The weapon was smuggled into Iran through the Israeli intelligence agency (Mossad). This was confirmed by intelligence sources on Wednesday.
The sources told the British newspaper “The Jewish Chronicle” that Mohsin Fakhrizada underwent Reiki for eight months.
A group of more than 20 Israeli and Iranian agents then ambushed the Iranian scientist to death.
Iranian media reported that gunmen indiscriminately opened fire on the car of 59-year-old Fakhrizadeh, after which he died at the hospital.
Shortly after the death of its nuclear scientist, Iran blamed Israel for the operation. “There is serious evidence that Israel has a role to play in the operation,” Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said in a tweet.
The Western world has long suspected that Fakhrizada was the mastermind of Iran’s secret nuclear program.
According to a British newspaper report, Iran estimates that it will take six years for Fakhrizadeh to be replaced.
Fakhrizadeh’s death extends Iranian nuclear program from three-and-a-half months to two years
The world’s oldest Jewish newspaper reported that Mossad had installed automatic weapons in a small “pickup”. In addition, the remote-controlled weapon was very heavy because it contained a bomb that destroyed evidence after the assassination.
According to the newspaper, the attack was carried out by Israel alone without US intervention. However, US officials had received an advance notification.
