Snapchat Crashing for a lot of Users Again: Issue Related to Log In

Snapchat faced a massive issue on Thursday evening, where more than 125,000 users reported on Downdetector. One of the users said that he tried to log in using iPhone 12 Mini, and the app crashed every time it was opened.

Snap responded to the problem in a tweet saying,  “We’re aware of a technical issue impacting some Snapchatters,” the company said from Snapchat’s support account. “Please hang tight as we are looking into it and working on a fix!”

The issue was fixed five hours later after the tweet. Snap advises the users to manually update the app in the App Store if the issue continues.

The bug first appeared in June in the iOS version where the app would crash at launch. The bug was fixed soon after through an update.
