TASHKENT: An Afghan military plane was prevented from illegally crossing Uzbek airspace by air defense forces, the Uzbek Defense Ministry press service said Monday.
The Afghan military plane crashed into Uzbek territory, said the ministry, adding that an investigation is underway.
The ministry said that there were no casualties. Meanwhile, local media reported that two Afghan servicemen were hospitalized in the Termez branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Aid.-Xinhua
