Netflix officially confirms ‘Squid Game’ season 2
The director and writer of “Squid Game” confirmed that the popular Korean TV show will return for season 2.
At the red carpet ceremony for the series in Los Angeles, the South Korean film director Hwang Dong-hyuk stated: “There’s been so much pressure, so much demand, and so much love, So I feel like you leave us no choice.”
He further said, “There’ll indeed be a second season. It’s in my head right now. I’m in the planning process currently, but I do think it’s too early to say when and how that’s going to happen.”

The move comes after a report published in Bloomberg stated that the hit show will generate close to $900 million in value for the company. The findings were based on internal Netflix documents obtained by the publication.
