BAGHDAD: The US-led international coalition against Islamic State jihadists has “finished its combat mission” in Iraq, the country’s National Security Adviser Qassem al-Aaraji said on Twitter Thursday.
Iraqi interior ministry media official General Saad Maan also told a press conference that “the coalition will have completely finished the transition to a non-combat mission before the end of the year”.
