Cardi B Talks About Her Ultimatum to Offset Before Having a Baby

According to Cardi, the dynamic couple married as a dare before welcoming their two children together. In an Essence cover story, the “Up” rapper confessed that when Offset originally floated the idea of having children together, she told him that marriage was the only way she’d let it happen.

On September 20, 2017, the two married in Offset’s Atlanta home. Cardi B revealed she was pregnant with her first kid during her appearance on Saturday Night Live, seven months after they married.

Cardi was worried about sustaining her career momentum before the baby’s arrival, despite the fact that the announcement marked a thrilling start to a new chapter in her life. Fortunately, she had Offset, whose actual name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, by her side throughout the ordeal.

They’re now concentrating on their talents, with Offset working on his second solo studio album and Cardi filming her Meta series, Cardi Tries.
