Elon Musk has announced that he will purchase Coca-Cola in order to restore the ‘cocaine’ in the beverage.

Elon Musk launched his next venture just days after purchasing Twitter. The outspoken Tesla CEO stated that he would soon purchase Coca-Cola in order to reintroduce “cocaine.”

He tweeted, “Next I’m buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in.”

Musk purchased a 100% stake in Twitter on Tuesday for approximately $44 billion, or $54.20 per share, in cash. For some weeks, the microblogging site had been weighing Musk’s offer. Musk previously stated that Twitter had “extraordinary potential,” which he wishes to realize.

Twitter’s board first established a poison pill anti-takeover strategy, which might have made a takeover attempt prohibitively expensive. However, after Musk detailed the financial guarantees he’d lined up to back his $46.5 billion offer — and no other bids surfaced – the board began negotiations with him.
