IPS officer Jyoti Deswal joined in the list of Yami Gautam’s admirers

Yami Gautam has replied to a former IPS officer’s compliments for her performance in her new release Dasvi. Yami plays IPS officer Jyoti Deswal, who works as a prison superintendent in Dasvi. RK Vij, a retired IPS officer, appreciated Yami’s social media portrayal, saying she looked “similar to our new IPS women officers.”

Yami has garnered positive feedback from both fans and reviewers for her portrayal of a cop. RK Vij, a retired SDGP, is the latest in a long line of admirers. RK Vij is a retired Special Director General of Police and a former IPS officer from the 1988 batch.

On Tuesday, he took to Twitter to share a post from Dasvi that showcased Yami’s look in the movie. RK Vij authored the Hindi title of the film as follows: “A fun entertainer with an important social message! All three performed admirably, and #yamigautam in uniform resembled our young #IPS female officers in terms of excitement.” The officer’s thoughts were echoed by some fans. “Exactly looking Fab in uniform,” one responded.

Yami retweeted the original post in response to the senior officer’s compliments. “Coming from you makes it the most wonderful compliment for me, Sir (folded hands emoji) Thank you very much,” she wrote alongside.
