Melanie Clark Pullen, an actress, passed away at the age of 46.
After a cancer battle, the EastEnders actress who played Pauline Fowler’s niece has died.
Melanie Clark was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2019 – and sadly died on March 29 this year after rounds of radiotherapy.
The actor levels behind her husband Simon and three children.
She received the all-clear in 2020, saying The Irish News, “I got the all clear.” “Now that I’m cancer-free, which is fantastic, it’s all about recovery.”
She updated her fans on social media about her treatment, and in her most recent post on March 14, she was seen smiling pleasantly as she visited her family.
On EastEnders, the actor played Mary Flaherty, Pauline Fowler’s long-lost great-niece.
Melanie also appeared in a number of period dramas, including Catherine Cookson’s ITV series A Dinner Full of Herbs.
She also acted alongside Liam Neeson and Lesley Manville in the film Ordinary Love, in which she played a doctor.
