Indonesian police apprehended four individuals and seized 47 kg of crystal methamphetamine at the Bengkalis seas in Riau Islands province, according to the national police’s anti-narcotics division on Wednesday.
According to Krisno Siregar, the division’s commander, three crew members and one captain of a speedboat were discarding four bags of illegal substances into the water when police officers apprehended them on April 12.

According to Siregar, the suspects took crystal methamphetamine from a fugitive on Malaysia’s Parit Penyengat beach to be distributed by another fugitive in Pekanbaru, Riau province.
The defendants reportedly violated the Narcotics Law and might face the death penalty as well as a fine of 10 billion rupiahs.
