Afghanistan Cricket Board has officially appointed Umar Gul as bowling coach
Former Pakistan Test fast bowler Umar Gul has been officially appointed as the bowling coach by the Afghanistan Cricket Board.
Afghanistan Cricket Board and former Pakistan Test fast bowler Umar Gul have signed a one-year contract.
He has previously worked with the Afghanistan team on a three-week assignment.
It may be recalled that Umar Gul represented Pakistan in 47 Tests, 130 ODIs and 60 T20 Internationals.
Umar Gul played a key role in helping Pakistan win the T20 World Cup in 2009.
The former Test cricketer has also been the bowling coach of Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL)
